With more than a decade of experience as a financial advisor, Andy attributes the beginning of his financial journey to organizing his own personal finances at his first “real job” at United Way in 2012. He was largely influenced by Dave Ramsey’s emphasis on budgeting. As he progressed with shaping his own personal financial philosophy, Andy read the book Master Your Money by Ron Blue and knew he wanted to be a financial advisor. He received a masters in financial planning from Indiana Wesleyan University and began working with Ty in 2015.
Andy holds a Series 65 license as well as CFP® and CKA® designations. In addition to being a financial advisor, he serves his community as a Minden city councilman and also serves as president of the Minden Foundation, a local non-profit that gives financial aid to community members who are faced with sudden and catastrophic needs.
Andy and his wife Polly along with their two sons, Cal and Freddy, live in Minden and are active members of St. John’s Episcopal Church. He enjoys coaching his sons in baseball, basketball, soccer and golf, as well as teaching them how to be outdoorsmen. Polly is a Kindergarten teacher at Glenbrook School and an incredible mother to their boys. Andy considers himself blessed to serve his clients, coworkers, community, and family. Anyone who truly knows Andy knows that he believes that anything worth doing, is worth having fun while doing it.
