Mark joined Meriwether following 13 years in the physical therapy industry, including six years of caring for patients in Minden. A Minden native and Glenbrook School graduate, Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from LSU and a doctorate in physical therapy from LSU Health Sciences Center. In 2025, he earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
In addition to his role as a financial advisor, Mark assists all advisors by building and updating financial plans, researching complex issues, and coordinating special projects to help clients optimize their financial situation. This includes projects such as helping clients choose the best time to file for Social Security and/or working with advisors to manage investment accounts in the most tax-efficient way.
Mark currently lives in Haughton. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, following LSU sports, and learning about a variety of topics such as genealogy, lifestyle medicine, and health behavior change.
